The Sanitary Area of Michigan City is looking for candidates for a Wastewater Therapy Plant Driver II position to run, and maintain the District's wastewater therapy center including key, second, tertiary, and solids procedure procedures.

Applicants must be able to operate valves, execute mathematics estimations, communicate with the basic public regarding require customer service and can relocating and/or raising around FIFTY pounds. High college diploma or equal required. Existing Class I, or greater, WWTP Driver's Certification is required and also the ability to obtain a Training II WWTP Driver's Accreditation within two years.

The candidate has to want to function a six (6) days on and 2 (2) times off job routine that will routinely consist of weekends. The position pays a base per hour rate of $17.85 each hr, with $0.35 added per hour for each and every level of wastewater credentials, approximately an optimum of 4 (4) degrees. In addition, there is an added shift differential pay of $0.25 per hour for Second Change (3:00 p.m.-- 11:00 p.m.) and $0.30 each hr for 3rd Change (11:00 p.m.-- 7:00 a.m.).
